Nashville Alt Rocker Greg Summerlin Explores Our Electronic Souls

Last month I had a big problem with a client.

I met with a marketing partner and his feedback was that the new record was way too niched with an 80’s vibe and might not do well on streaming platforms.

So I did what I always do when I encounter an opportunity to think through how to face a problem. I sat at my work table and I started mapping out some scenarios to take one of my client’s songs and make a music video. We needed a win.

Greg Summerlin has been working on this particular record project for a few years. It’s his passion project and a labor of love. “Electronic Soul” is a beautiful indie rock album with the eighties feel.

Here is the outcome of the music video that I co-produced with Brian Reith. Brian did a phenomenal job with both the animation and motion graphics.
